A top-notch restaurant has opened on the site of the old Šibenik mill that will delight you!

Mlin Montanari is a new destination on the Šibenik waterfront that will delight the palate of all gourmets. The beautifully decorated restaurant on the site of a former steam mill in the oldest part of the city near the cathedral will win you over with excellent food and a unique atmosphere!

There is an interesting story behind the name of the restaurant. Namely, in the mid-19th century, a steam mill was opened in Šibenik, the first industrial plant of its kind in Dalmatia. Its owner was the Italian Giovanni Montanari, and this summer an excellent gastronomic story began on the site of the old mill.

- Our concept is based on offering traditional dishes with top-quality ingredients. We have continued the mill tradition and make homemade bread and pasta. So you can try homemade gnocchi, pljukanci, tagliatelle, ravioli. We have as many as seven types of pasta on the menu, such as Italian specialties carbonara and cacio e pepe. There is also pasta skartoc, or homemade manistra with gilthead sea bream fillet in an interesting sauce, and the menu also includes steaks and much more. We also offer an excellent selection of appetizers, cold plates and soups, so you can try the soup with Šibenik luganiga. For the end, you can sweeten it with crumble or souffle, and we are sure that everyone will find something to their taste - says director Lucija Ševerdija.

Wine lovers can choose from numerous fine wines from local and Croatian winemakers, and what stands out are the three house wines, red, debit and rosé. This is the debit of the Birin winery and the red and rosé wine of the OPG Zatocon, which have the eco-label for an original eco product.

In addition to an excellent menu and an extensive wine list, the restaurant also has a shop where you can buy various delicacies such as wine, liqueurs, pâtés and other delicious products, and during Advent, interesting gift packages will also be offered.

This restaurant stands out with its beautiful interior, and the harmony of stone and wood contributes to a unique ambiance ideal for organizing receptions, celebrations and similar events. The friendly staff will make sure you feel comfortable with the best gastronomic experience.
